We met with our tax guy tonight and signed some MORE papers so our return can be processed. Why on June 28? Hmmm....well it all begins with the IRS mistaking the purchase of our house in 2009 as a purchase in 2008 where the first time home buyer credit must now be repaid. Thank goodness we do not have to repay ours, it has already been deeply invested into our home. However, the mistake prompted the IRS to greedily keep retain our refund. After two months of this back and forth, we should see our refund in 3-4 weeks. Because that's appropriate.

I had a dream about Andy Cohen last night...in love!

After being inspired by Babbling Abby I got past the idea that everything from Goodwill has cooties and made my first "non shopping for a sorority date party outfit" trip. I spent way too much time combing through the racks, lesson learned, and $17 later I came home with these goodies.

The jean jacket is so cute (despite looking large and in charge in the pic, it is even a small!) and it's from Ann Taylor thankyouverymuch. $12.99? Sold. The necklace is green wooden beads, I need to get better about accessorizing. $0.99, easy peasy. The shelf is slated for a nice coat of paint and will likely be hung in our bedroom. For $2.99, I wish there were more! I was inspired by Lindsey and her floating shelf tutorial.
