Sunday Funday

What a fun (exhausting) weekend! My sorority sister Alicia is here visiting from Denver so we've had a fun filled weekend with more activities to come. Yesterday I met her and the girls at Sarah's pool but the shade got the best of us. We opted to eat pizza, drink wine and do what we do best; talk.

We got ready to go out for the night, "cab's here!" and we were off to Old Town Scottsdale (not usually my cup of tea, but fun with good friends). First we hit up Dos Gringos where the days of the $2 Corona are no more. I guess it's not 2003 anymore...$4 later we found the lifesize Jenga game! The blocks were splinter city and another group had trouble sharing, but we patiently waited our turn and had a blast!
We stopped for a quick dance party on the way out and headed to Loco Patron. We ran into some old college friends, had a drink and Lisa and Meg met up after the Lady Gaga concert. Lovely Lisa drove us home where we devoured the leftover pizza and proceeded to sleep for a few short hours.

This morning was "brunch" at Zipps, complete with bloody mary's and half and half french fries and onion rings, yum! A weekend full of splurging, back to the oatmeal and fruit tomorrow! The Zipps on Hayden has a bus that takes you to the spring training facility so we rode that over to watch the Colorado Rockies take on the Oakland A's. Luckily our seats stayed shaded the whole time and it was fun to watch, chat and enjoy a beautiful day.

The girls stuck together for dinner and tv at Meg's house in Scottsdale but I opted to head home to Gilbert to relax, get ready for the week and go to be early. Time to figure out dinner and get some rest :)
