It's too exhausting to even think about the experience, let alone write about it so here is a brief recap.
- Sunday night, ER visit with Will after congestion, wheezing and retracting of the lungs and trachea.
- 5 hours in ER and released, 4 hours of sleep for me before school the next day
- Monday still sick but home with Dan
- Tuesday, Dan flies to Philly for work and Ben goes to daycare. Sheila watches Will since he's still sick. Symptoms get so bad I leave school and meet her at the children's hospital and Will is admitted right away. Same symptoms, only worse.
- Will gets an IV for fluids after 3 sticks...stupid nurses and they contemplate putting him on oxygen.
- 5 hours in the ER then moved to an overflow unit for the night. No bathroom or bench for me to sleep on, just a chair and sink in the room plus the baby jail crib.
- Respiratory therapist gives him an albuterol breathing treatment and he remains on room air
- My friend Tori brought us dinner and stuff to stay the night
- Overnight Will has a 102 fever and sleeps 1 hour then awake 3 and repeats the cycle
- He "wakes up" feeling better and more like his happy self. We saw the peditrician around noon and were released shortly after, thank goodness!
- We're continuing breathing treatments at home and seeing the pediatrician today.
- Ready to be done with RSV!!!!

When we lived out by you we saw Dr. Gentile (Recommended to me by the Fedich family and I've since recommended them to the McClintock family). He is great! http://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-mark-gentile-xp4gf
