These are a couple of the things from my MIGHT do category and I actually accomplished them! Granted, none of them are super involved or difficult but fun nonetheless! I'm also linking up with Katie and Stephanie for their weekly "Saw It, Pinned It, Did It" :)
During the babies nap last week, I made this shamrock banner. Fun, easy and the only thing I needed to buy was one piece of green glitter scrapbook paper. I felt a little guilty tearing pages out of a book but whatareyougonnado?
Last week we had a wedding shower for our music teacher at school and one of the awesome 5th grade teachers put this together from her team. I told her she had to Pin it so I could copy use the inspiration, thanks Amie! I'm going to a wedding shower this week so it worked out perfectly, inside is a silverware set off the registry. I used 3 kitchen towels but bought 2 sets of 2 so I tucked the 4th in with the silverware before I wrapped it. Amie advised me to wrap the silverware with one towel and use two for the bow. $1.49 for the 3 wooden spoons at Target and voila!
I also made this pasta recipe, cookie pie and a version of this salsa. It's amazing what you can accomplish during Spring Break! I did not take my own photos because...I forgot. Also mine never look as good as the pin. But I will recommend that you try all 3!
I can't find the salsa pin, probably accidentally pinned it on another board! I basically used 4 whole tomatoes, half a white onion, handful cilantro, 4 green onions, half a jalapeno and serrano pepper, garlic salt and pepper to taste. Chop then pulse in the blender and enjoy!
In addition to being a pinning fool, I've had a great week spending family time and the twins get cuter every minute!
