Sarti Twins - 29 weeks

How far along? 29 weeks. Third trimester, I can't believe it!

Size? Small cabbage, 17 in 2.9lbs

Maternity clothes? Still rotating through the same few dresses, and bermuda shorts/ tops!

Showing? According to my sis in law, I look like she did before she gave birth...so I'll go with yes!

Weight gain? 20 pounds

Stretch marks? Same couple on my hip :/ Oh well!

Gender? 2 boys! Gymnasts in training apparently.

Sleep? Starting to have more trouble sleeping and the babies are awake a lot at night.

Movement? They are nonstop, I love it! Except when baby A flipped (so he is now breech) and pushed baby B up into my ribs even further. I got a huge cramp and couldn't catch my breath. This plus the sudden swelling of my hands and feet the night before had me in the nurses office at school getting my blood pressure checked and I had to lay down during my special. Thank goodness for my awesome teammates.

Food cravings? None :( I failed the 1 hour glucose test which my doctor says is very common because of the 2 placentas not being as efficient but now I need to take the 3 hour test and I'm really sad about it. If I don't pass this one, I'll be on a diabetic diet so even if I get cravings I won't get to enjoy them.

Anything making you queasy or sick? No, thank goodness!

Labor signs? Lots of Braxton Hicks contractions, especially on the days I'm at work so I try to drink lots of water and take it easy every chance I get. Doc says I'm good to go for at least the next two weeks!

Belly button, in or out? Stretching but in :)

Wedding rings, on or off? Off :( After the swelling the other night, I had to take them off for good.

What I miss? Walking without crazy hip pain, getting in and out of bed comfortably and once and a while a cold glass of Pinot Grigio sounds amazing!

Symptoms? Braxton Hicks contractions, pressure/pain, hip pain, shortness of breath (thanks to Baby B likely) acid reflux, and difficulty sleeping. It can be tough but it's totally worth it! I've read that the 3rd trimester can be more difficult than having twin newborns...we shall see! Oh, and cankles...boo.

Happy or moody? So happy that the babies are doing so well and aren't coming in the next few weeks! I am having some trouble with the discomforts, lack of energy and overwhelming amount of things to do between getting ready for the babies and preparing for my maternity leave and keeping up with the house/every day chores.

Best moment of the week? Coming home after a 12 hour day and curriculum night where we had no air conditioning in our rooms to dinner being made and flowers from Dan. He hadn't been home in 4 days so it awesome!

Looking forward to... My shower that my sisters in law are throwing me in a couple of weeks. I can't wait to see everyone!
